Monkey Bread: Cinnamon Biscuits

3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons margarine
1 (7.5 ounce) tube canned biscuits

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.

Melt margarine in a small bowl in microwave. Dip the top of each biscuit in margarine, then in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place each biscuit, cinnamon side up, on baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Sometimes I like to roll the entire roll into a ball, around in the margarine, and coat entirely with the ingredients. This makes it more fatty, though, but more like a donut.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oatmeal (Quickoats)
1/4 cup Carnation low fat powdered milk
1/3 cup raisins 1/3 cup mixed nuts
(chopped walnuts & sliced almonds)
a dash of shelled sunflower seeds (unsalted is best)
1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Directions:
Mix ingredients thoroughly in a bowl and pour contents into a baggy. When ready to eat breakfast all you have to do is dump contents from the baggy into a pot and add 2 cups boiling water. Let contents sit for two minutes, then serve.
